OUR STORY
We built what we needed and could not find.
Twende Suite was founded by people who had worked inside the East African safari industry — and experienced, first-hand, the operational chaos of running a safari business on disconnected tools. Enquiries managed on WhatsApp, itineraries rebuilt in Word for every client, pricing done in Excel with no validation, and lodge bookings tracked in a notebook entirely separate from the itinerary.
We looked for software that could solve this properly. Most platforms we encountered were originally built for European tour operators and later adapted for the African market. They failed to reflect the realities of safari operations — the complexity of multi-currency pricing, the constantly shifting logistics around migration seasons, and the accommodation confirmation workflows that often rely on inconsistent communication channels in remote areas.
Twende Travel OS is what we built instead. It is the operating system this market has always needed — designed from the inside out, supported by European investment and rigour, and built by a team that has no distance from the problem it is solving.
